New York 2008

New York 2008

We went to New York to see the US Open. We had such a great time. We had courtside seats and were able to see Roger Federer and Andy Roddick both play. While we were there we were able to catch a Yankees game which is one of our yearly traditions Chad started when Josh was born. We saw the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building and Central Park. Besides the hot dog vendors on the streets (yum) we had some really great culinary experiences. Since Chad is a big Bobby Flay fan we went to a couple of his restaurants, Bar Americain and Mesa Grill. Then we hopped on the subway and had dessert at Serendipity; the Strawberry Fields ice cream sunday is highly recommended!

St. George Half Marathon

My first half marathon! Todd talked me into doing it with him about a week and a half before. I ran in in 2 hours and 5 minutes. Chad, Tyler and my mom decided to do the 5k at the last minute.
